The benefits of Bamboo fabric
Find out why Bamboo is one of our favourite materials to work with!
Environmentally friendly
One of the most sustainable materials
Bamboo is incredibly renewable, in-fact it is one of the fastest-growing plants on earth! Better yet, it doesn't require any pesticides or fertilizers, which are incredibly toxic and harmful to both the farmers and the environment. Bamboo also requires very little water, which is great news when you consider that one cotton t-shirt can use anything from 10,000 to 20,000 liters of water.
Furthermore, growing bamboo is beneficial to the environment as is excellent at absorbing greenhouse gases and producing clean, fresh oxygen. Bamboo also self-regenerates from its own roots, so it doesn’t need to be replanted and it helps to improve soil condition.
While we design and create our pieces to last, it is also good to know that Bamboo is bio-degradable
Luxuriously soft
You’ll never want to take it off!
Bamboo is one of the softest and most comfortable fabrics. It feels silky soft and light-weight on the skin with a generous stretch so you never feel restricted.
Breathable, absorbent and thermo-regulating
Perfect for on the go or practicing your yoga flow
One of the reasons we chose to work primarily with bamboo in our movement collection is it has several properties which make it the perfect material to wear when you are on the go or practicing your yoga flow! Bamboo, is breathable and comfortable with thermo-regulating ability meaning it keeps you cool in summer and warm in winter. Bamboo is also more absorbent than cotton and helps to wick moisture away from the skins, keeping you cool and dry - perfect when you are working up a sweat!
Hypoallergenic
Natural, soft solution
